One of the things I dig about living in South Philly is there is always something interesting going on. Our neighborhood is dotted with populations from all over the world. It is not uncommon to see, hear, and smell foods and culture from all corners of the earth.
One of my favorite is the annual Carnaval De Huejotzingo that my neighbor puts on every year. We get visitors from all over the east coast and the street is filled with music, dancers, food, and singing as they celebrate this historical Mexican event.
