It has all been leading up to this.
Slowly. Quickly. Sometimes in straight lines, sometimes wandering — but always moving forward.
I’ve spent my life staying open to the world, chasing adventure, truth, beauty, and the quiet moments of peace that appear along the way. I’ve followed curiosity wherever it led. And yet, one adventure has always remained just out of reach on my bucket list.
The call has been there for years — loud, persistent, impossible to ignore.
To push myself farther than I ever have before and thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail.
For those unfamiliar, it’s a six-month journey on foot covering roughly 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada, crossing three states and some of the most breathtaking landscapes on the West Coast — if not in the entire United States.
There are plenty of books, articles, and videos about the trail if you want to learn the technical details. This isn’t that kind of story.
This is something else.
This is a declaration.
A commitment.
A call to action.
And an invitation for anyone who wants to follow along, help out, or is simply curious about what can happen when you use your skills, creativity, and passions to chase a dream that feels just a little bigger than you.
This is the Big Everything.
Every eBay sale.
Every song sold.
Every photograph printed.
Every opportunity to build something that helps make this possible.
It all starts now. Tonight.
For years I’ve watched others who have — quite literally — blazed the trail ahead of me. I’ve studied, learned, and imagined what it might feel like to take those first steps.
Now it’s time to stop watching.
And start doing.
For the next two years I’ll be saving, creating, promoting, learning, training, and building every opportunity I can so that this adventure becomes real.
And I’m excited to share the journey along the way.
